Miriam Aroeste is a Contemporary Artist by heart. Born in Mexico City her wild curiosity and natural sense of adventure got her to travel study and live in many different counties. Always attracted to Art she studied Cinematography in Rome, Italy where she met Fellini, Amtonioni, and studied under Ettore Scuola.
Aroeste was captivated by sculpture and that is how she started her carrier in visual arts 20 years ago. Her fascination to painting came latter to stay.
Miriam is devoted to her art career. She has exhibited in Canada, USA, and France and her work is collected locally and Internationally.

Miriam's Statement

I'm really interested in vividly expressing through Minimalism. Saying more with less.
I open my heart wide open and I start an incredible dialogue. I express what IS for me in that very moment.
When I paint I achieve a profound state of presence. My paintings are ultimately explorations of line, color, form and gesture, and their ability to elicit emotional or spiritual responses. They are intended to be viewed as one would listen to instrumental music, without feeling a need to attach a meaning or narrative.
